What to expect?

Who is this for?

You’ll be guided through the layers of embodiment—learning how to awaken and inhabit your feet, hands, legs, arms, pelvis and spine. Through somatic inquiry, you’ll deepen your intimacy with how each part of your body connects to and influences the whole. Your journey will include: A progression from separateness, to connectedness, to interconnection, and finally to an embodied experience of wholeness. Exploring, through your body, the dual truth of being both a separate individual and part of a greater whole. Opening pathways of sensitivity to cultivate intimacy with the subtle—where healing and integration happens. Learning how to protect the vulnerability of your joints while strengthening the deep core muscles that support your structure. Softening the “social muscles”—areas that hold residual tensions from daily life—to create more ease, release and less resitance. The course includes: 7 guided embodiment classes – Full movement practices from start to finish to support embodied integration. 3 workshop sessions – To explore the movement practices more deeply, helping you understand what you're embodying and why. 3 deep listening circles – Opportunities to connect with one another through the shared practice of speaking, listening, and being heard.

This course is for those who are ready to cultivate a more intimate relationship with themselves and the deep intelligence within and around them. It’s for you if: You’re seeking a more grounded, embodied intimacy with your own wisdom. You’re a leader, guide, or practitioner who wants to expand your ability to understand and relate to yourself and others. You’ve been on a journey of personal growth and are looking to integrate deeper embodiment into your life and work. You’re curious about how your relationship to your body’s subtleties can inform your choices, leadership, and interactions. You desire a space that invites reflection and gradual unfolding, where deep inquiry and connection can take place without rushing. You’re ready to move beyond surface-level practices and into a more authentic, integrated experience of yourself. Whether you’re new to embodiment or have been on this journey for some time, this course will help you embrace your body as a source of wisdom, clarity, and understanding.

Being in connection with others is not just essential for survival — it's part of what makes life rich and meaningful. Many of us have been conditioned to live outside of real community, often without even realiing it. In this course, we include the practice of Deep Listening — a nourishing way to connect with yourself and others, to attune to what is present beneath the surface, and to strengthen the relational field that supports embodiment. Deep Listening reminds us that connection is not something we do — it’s something we allow.

  • What will the Embodiment Sessions involve?
Each session will begin with Olivia guiding you through breathwork, then into movement, and will conclude with a guided relaxation (Savasana). Afterward, Olivia will close the Zoom session, allowing you to transition out of relaxation at your own pace.
  • What is Deep Listening?
Deep Listening is the practice of deeply hearing another, awakening their innate intelligence by reflecting back what they’ve shared—and allowing them to do the same for you. In the sessions you will receive a brief overview of what to do and then be invited into a breakout room with two others. In this space, you’ll have the opportunity to share and be heard, creating a simple yet profound connection that fosters understanding and authentic communication.
  • What do you need?
A yoga mat for practice. A flat cushion, or neatly folded blanket (that you may use for support in the practice). A blanket or shall to cover yourself with for the relaxation. Comfortable clothes for moving in.
  • Will all the sessions be recorded?
The Embodiment and Workshop sessions will be recorded, allowing you to participate either live or by the recording in your own time. Each recording will be available for 3 months. Deep Listening sessions, however, are not recorded, as they involve personal sharing.
  • What will you see when online live or in the recording?
Olivia will be on the screen when introducing the practice. Laura Muskan (a seasoned resilience practitioner and teacher) will be demonstrating the movements, whilst Olivia instructs.
  • Do you have to have your camera on?
No you don't, however if you do (and your whole body can be seen), you will have more support from Olivia as she will be able to give specific guidance from what she sees.
  • Will there be any theory work on these courses?
    No, everything is practical.
  • Extra support?
Olivia will be available, by email, throughout all courses. To give any extra personal support with the practice if/when needed. This support is available to you if you attend live or by recording.

Facilitated by  Olivia Crooks

Olivia has taught embodiment for over two decades, in which she has given over ten thousand hours of teaching.

What she has to say about her approach:

"Crossing the 10,000-hour threshold made me a yoga elder some years ago, through years of

teaching classes, intensives, retreats and teacher trainings. Yet even with that background,

each class I give is still a new experience for me — shaped by the people present and by what

unfolds between us, whether online or in person.Being an embodiment guide is, for me, about

guiding people into a more enriched relationship with their body’s intelligence — awakening

their capacity to listen, trust, feel, and live from their innate wisdom"
